Unitron Regional Trainer
Purpose of role: Perform expert training, support and leadership to field professionals on all matters related to Unitron products, including but not limited to providing audiological and technical support to Hearing Healthcare Professionals with regard to Unitron fitting software & product conduct regional, in-office and online customer training activities; interface with various inter-company departments to provide training and support for product lines; and represent Unitron at local and national seminars and events. Must be willing to travel extensively.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:  Make required number of sales calls per week to current or new customers within territory  Conduct regional, in-office and online customer training activities with an emphasis on Unitron products & software (80%).  Provide clinical expertise and training to inter-company personnel with regard to new product launches and on-going training support of the Unitron portfolio of products (10%).  Support sales staff by providing other fiduciary tasks as assigned by the RVP, Audiology and Education Manager (10%).  Travel up to 75% required  Other duties as assigned
Education and Skillset:
 Master's Degree in Audiology required, Doctorate of Audiology preferred
 3+ years clinical or industry experience and experience working with hearing aid technology and fitting software
 Prior training or teaching experience preferred
 Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills
 Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain relationships
 Customer oriented team player
 Excellent telephone etiquette with a mature, professional demeanor
 Ability and passion to teach, primarily in a small group setting
 Detail oriented with willingness and commitment to follow up
 Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
 Able to work in a fast paced multi-tasking environment
 Strong analytical and proactive problem solving skills
 Experience with digital technology, fitting software, and NOAH
 Significant PC experience in a MS Windows environment
A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
