Job Description: In this position, you will be supporting the F-35 Product Support ManagerÂs (PSM) Policy and Standards Team that is a vital component of the PSMÂs Governance and Compliance Team.
 The mission of the F-35 PSM is to construct and execute the F-35 Product Support Strategy known as the F-35 Global Support Solution (GSS) to increase F-35 availability, mission effectiveness, full mission capability, and decrease F-35 lifecycle cost for F-35 operators around the world.
 The Governance and Compliance Team leads the development and update of the F-35 GSS, including the oversight of plans (including the F-35 Life Cycle Sustainment Plan), policies, standards, and coordination of Governance boards including the Sustainment Advisory Group (SAG) and the Autonomic Logistics Advisory Council (ALAC).
 The Policy and Standards Team (PST) plans and executes F-35 governance forums (including the SAG and ALAC) and summits. The PST provides technical sustainment and logistics management, analysis, and oversight to manage and deliver directed F-35 governance forums and the active coordination of sustainment sub-working groups including maintaining and coordinating PSM Voting Members, and stakeholders actions arising from the JSF Executive Steering Board (JESB), ALAC, and SAG forums. The PST provides close liaison and active integration to cost and warfighting governance bodies such as Senior Warfighter Group (SWG), Operational Advisory Group (OAG), and Finance and Contracts Committee (FCC) for seamless integration of sustainment strategies, priorities, and requirements.
Responsibilities:
 Provide analytical, technical, and administrative support to the Product Support ManagerÂs (PSM) Policy and Standards Team Lead during the planning, documentation and execution of all F-35 sustainment documentation requirements, policy, and plans.
 Support the development of PSM Policy and Standards Team. Coordinate reviews and provide technical insight into the development of the overarching structural documentation to Issuances, such as Program Instructions, Business Rules (BR), Sustainment Operating Instructions (SOI), and F-35 Program Directives.
 Review, evaluate, coordinate and compile a wide range of Team and individual inputs to prepare for events to support to the F-35 logistics and sustainment, along with F-35 Executive Management Boards and Councils.
 Compose and provide executive-level products for program reviews and testimony to Service Acquisition Executives, OSD staff, and Congressional committees who are responsible for providing US government oversight of the F-35 life cycle sustainment to include compliance with laws and mandates applicable to F-35 program execution.
 Perform F-35 Sustainment Policy activities. Manages PSMÂs logistics and sustainment planning and policy data, databases, and data management systems. Supports F-35 JPO hosted meetings, teleconferences and review boards. Updates and maintains Sustainment Policy and Standards documentation.
 Coordinate working level effort for completion, agreement, and approval of developed and documented procedures, and establish a controlled structure for all applicable documents for Policy and Standards Team. Assist in assessing and addressing Service policy gaps.
 Participate in all PSMÂs Governance and Compliance Team meetings. Assist in organizing and actively participates in numerous working group meetings, action groups, panels and in support of the Policy and Standards Team Lead or PSMÂs Director of G&C.
 Compose/update documents and presentations and design/build management products using Microsoft (MS) Office products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, Project and other applications as required including Adobe Pro.
 BachelorÂs degree in engineering, logistics, or business-related discipline
 10+ years of experience supporting a DoD acquisition program
 Comprehensive Program / Project Management knowledge and experience in defense acquisition
 Knowledge of Department of Defense projects, particularly involving foreign nations
 Experience in International Defense Collaborative Programs
 Experience in the design of logistics and/or business system data architectures and data models
 Have a comprehensive understanding of Product Support Management and Sustainment processes within a major defense acquisition program
 Understanding of DoD planning programming budgeting and execution processes
 Must be able to read, interpret, and understand federal laws and Department of Defense regulations dealing with acquisition, logistics and foreign military sales
 Good briefing skills and interpersonal and/or diplomatic skills are highly desired.
 Willingness to travel overseas
