The Impact YouÂll Have
GretelÂs customer-facing Solutions Engineer will be an integral part of our backend engineering team and will be responsible for the support of the post-sales, integration, and implementation process by providing technical knowledge to internal and external customers. They will develop and implement integration solutions coordinating applications across the customerÂs enterprise. They will also evaluate existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and to ensure final solutions meet organizational needs and be directly responsible for the diagnosis, configuration, deployment and support of Gretel.
Responsibilities
 Lead evaluation of current and future tooling and automation for customer support at Gretel, owning the implementation across engineering
 Work closely with pre-sales engineering to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve external customer issues
 Partner with customers to write custom configurations and scripts for complex use cases
 Own both customer and developer happiness for your products in production, working with your own and other teams to build operational transparency and resiliency into every layer of deployed applications
 Coordinate with engineering and product leads to define, prioritize, and task projects that help Gretel meet business objectives
 Provide technical leadership, mentorship, pairing opportunities, and code reviews to encourage the growth of others
Basic Qualifications
 At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, DevOps or site reliability engineering
 At least 3 years of experience with scalable, API based agent or service oriented software architecture
 At least 3 years of direct customer support experience
 Experience with agile development methodologies for continuous development of product and technology
 Experience leading the delivery of large-scale distributed systems
 Strong communication skills - you will be working directly with customers, so weÂre extra mindful about verbal and written communication
Preferred Qualifications
 Experience building applications with Python and/or Go
 Experience with cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, GCP
 Experience with containerized applications running on Kubernetes
 Data engineering experience
 Experience working remotely in a distributed company

Compensation
Employee compensation will be determined based on interview performance, level of experience, specialization of skills, and market rate. During the offer discussion, your recruiter will review the finalized base salary, bonus (for applicable roles), benefits and perks (additional information available on our career site), and stock options as theyÂll be reflected in the offer letter.
Employees hired in the U.S. and Canada can expect the below information to reflect a reasonable estimate of the salary offered for this role. Salary ranges are updated regularly using premium market data. (Please note: it is unusual for new hires to receive a base salary at the top of the range. Additionally, the value of Gretel.aiÂs stock options is not included in the salary bands and may represent a significant portion of your compensation.)
Senior Solutions Engineer, $170,000-$200,000 USD
Staff Solutions Engineer $190,000-$220,000 USD
