IT Support Specialist
Posted 2025-04-30SUMMARY: This position provides IT support for remote and onsite users in line with agreed procedures and expected support levels.
Position Specific Competencies...
 Deploy PCs and associated peripherals including new installations and the redeployment of existing equipment
 Install and configure client operating systems to agreed standards under the direction of the IT Leadership team
 Install and configure the software to agreed standards under the direction of the IT Leadership team
 Maintain the existing PCs and peripherals to standards determined by the IT Leadership team; performing upgrades, new installations and carrying out routine maintenance procedures
 Assist in the compilation/maintenance of an accurate inventory of hardware and software
 Troubleshooting and problem resolution
 Assist with and work with IT management on various IT projects
 Network documentation and end-user training
 Assist with new office setup or office relocations
 Performs other related duties as assigned.

 Must have great communication skills and update tickets in our ticketing system so all parties are aware of the current status of issues you are working on
 Must always provide a professional, courteous and rapid response to users
 May need to provide onsite coverage for days or weeks at a time
 Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the business, participate in appropriate training activities
 Undertake such other duties, training, and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job
 All documentation is complete, thorough, accurate, timely, legible, grammar and spelling are appropriate, guidelines for that particular document are followed, and signatures and dates are affixed where required
 Maintains good relationships with peers and his/her supervisor, and maintains appropriate boundaries with all persons with which he/she comes in contact during work time.
 Schedule is kept consistently and timely, with minimal absences, and minimal tardiness
Requirements
 Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree preferred
 1-2 years experience required
 Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record (Some travel to clients sites and/or out of state travel may be required
 Must meet satisfactory criteria of Agency with regards to the results of a required Criminal Background check and Driving Record check
 Must be able to perform the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
 Must be available to occasionally work outside of regular business hours and sometimes overnight
 Must be able to lift heavy objects, sometimes above head level
 Must be able to perform repeated bending, thrusting, crawling, squatting, and kneeling. May have to use ladders or access narrow spaces
