WHAT YOUÂLL DO
As a key business development role, the Business Development Manager will be primarily responsible for nurturing and developing opportunities with our Corporate Real Estate (CRE) partners. You will be responsible for ensuring that AVI-SPL is top of mind when it comes to developing office space for customers in need of huddle rooms, training facilities, board rooms, conference rooms, etc. This is a national roleÂone where you will work with customers, partners as well as AVI-SPLÂs local offices around the USA and as such travel is required.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:  Oversee the agreed upon Master Service Agreements with the assigned channels relating to the pricing schedules and marketing programs  Enhance profitability through proposal of entire solution portfolio that includes audio video integrations, experiential workspaces, unified communication (audio/video/data) for non-managed cloud, managed cloud, and on-premise managed solutions  Assist in articulating and presenting the full life-cycle company solution to customers and partners (all market verticals that include global, healthcare, state/local government and federal) through the channel from audio/video integration, maintenance services and managed services offerings  Engage with each assigned account and key personal on a country-wide basis with the aim of driving sales through these selected channel partnerships  Qualify when to engage a local salesperson and other operations people who have the resources to complete the sale, including network requirements, build and design, RFP responses and quote building  Execute joint marketing events to evangelize companyÂs solutions to build brand and buy-in  Compile a detailed and mutually agreed business plan  Host monthly and quarterly business review meetings with channel partner personnel  Train and support channel partner personnel in all areas of the companyÂs product and services range  Provide partner pricing and quoting support  Provide support for RFP and RFQ quotes for all company products and services  Attend weekly sales meetings and provide updates on business development and accurate forecasting information  Other duties assigned as needed

 Strong relationship management and collaboration skills with the ability to negotiate conflict and maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of the organization
 Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities
 Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
 Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion
 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
 Must have clear and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externally
 Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
 Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
 Demonstrated customer service focus and client communication skills
Education and/or Experience
 BachelorÂs degree preferred
 Minimum of 2 years of sales or business development experience preferably in the Audio Visual, Construction, and/or Commercial Real Estate industries
 Experience in Unified Communications and/or Audiovisual preferred
 Familiarity with AV or other electro  mechanical systems a plus
 Experience operating in a multi-state and/or complex matrix business environment is desirable.
