What is Amazon Workforce Staffing?

Job Duties:

• Manage incoming inventory
• Prepare and pack customer orders
• Load boxes for shipment
• Utilize bar code scanners on products
• Follow instructions on screen prompts
• Resolve issues proactively
• Ensure product quality meets standards
• Operate power industrial trucks (PIT) and work at heights. Equipment training and certification are free!

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
• Maneuver carts up to 60 pounds
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout shifts
• Utilize carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other moving equipment
• Climb stairs and work at heights (if applicable)
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment standards

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced warehouse setting with moving machines
• Protective gear and safety tips provided for all teams
• Activities might require prolonged standing, walking, or stair-climbing
• Temperatures range from 60°F to 90°F in warehouse; possibly hotter in truck yard or inside trailers
• Noise level can be high; hearing protection available
